Q.

I live in a joint family. Just wanted to know when will my baby start recognising me as his mother. He goes to everyone and doesn’t give any special response to me. I really feel insecure.

A. Around four to five months baby starts recognizing mother. After six months, you can start giving semi solid foods to the baby, to start with give thick dal soup, mashed banana, suji kheer, later introduce mashed sweet potato, seasonal fruit purees, rice porridge, khichdi, yogurt. Initially give everything in small quantity and check response of the baby and gradually increase the quantity of the food. After nine months you can start solid foods like chapati mashed in dal, sift cooked rice, finger foods.

A. do not be insecure because as a mother your baby nose your heartbeat also so just be relaxed give time to your baby make sure that you feed your baby always on your own because once you do this your baby will be more attached to you food is something which is most essential thing that is milk is something which is most essential thing for the baby in the first six month and if you make your baby sleep and make your day be filled with your own hands you baby will recognise you forever and your baby will never be attached to anyone is that much
