Q.
I have twins baby 5months old now, mom milk is not coming so we started giving cerelacs stage 1 and apple banana mashed mixer along with nestle nan pro stage 1 milk powder. Please suggest if nan pro stage 1 needs to be upgraded now to stage 2 and also suggest some food which can be given to 5months old child for better growth and development?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear parent you can switch to stage 2 after completion of 6 months if baby is not Breastfed then only exclusively formula feeding should be continued till 6 months complete

Stage 2 should be given after completing the time of six months you can give stage one as of now and the correct age to introduce external food to the child after completing the age of six months not this early suggest you to stop giving extra food as of now
