Q.
I have started using castor oil for my child's massage. Someone suggested that it will prevebt cough and cold during winters. Mostly I use it to massage his feet. But I read online that it can be poisonous. So, please clear my doubts.

meghnaMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl6 years agoA. I doubt it is good for baby health . I personally used mamaearth massage oil 1 - because mamaearth products are organic 2- because it has almond oil avocado oil other essential oils ...try it

I have used other oils too but I have found that castor oil is really effective to prevent cough and cold. I had this doubt whether it could have any harmful effect when used regularly for massage.

shruti mangla gandhiMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy6 years agoA. hello, it isn't poisonous for sure. you could use warm coconut oil, almond oil or even warm mustard oil if the purpose is tonptevent cold and cough. i am not very sure about using castor oil. but there are other oils rhat I have mentioned which are widely used and accepted
