i have seven months boy baby he suffered loose motion from last one week i visit pediatrician he gve zinc gluconate oral solution drop but no use plz tel me what am doing now.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion are mostly infective which could be bacterial or viral in origin.
the most important thing is fluid and electrolyte imbalance which can cause dehydration and further complications which should be manajged properly.
Initially probiotics can be given along with zinc supplement and ors solution.
Antibiotics should be given if required by the doctor only .
