Q.
I have not given my baby vitamin d3 drops from her birth till now. she is 7 months old now. my pediatrician suggested not to give. I m confused

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. as per medical speaking it is advised and recommended to give vitamin d3 drops 1 ml daily till one year of age from the date of birth for strong bones and timely teeth eruption

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, There is no harm in giving it. If your baby is having sun bath 10-20 min daily then no need to give this . Give Home made nutritious food and balanced diet including carbohydrates proteins mineral calcium vitamin etc. Offer suji kheer oats kheer mashed potatoes mashed banana apple puree ghee in dal cheese eggs khichdi daliya seasonal fruits and vegetables soups etc
