Q.

I have low bm and I’m giving formula milk to my baby . How much formula per feed is ok to give baby in 1 n half month ?? And should we maintain any hours of gap for next feed ?? As baby demands milk around every hour

A. But feeding frequency is 1 n half hr as baby wakes up for feed . Is it normal ?

A. there is a lot of individual variation in the quantity of milk a baby will take it is always advisable to continue breast milk at least 6 months of age we can give 60 ml of milk if the baby is demanding after breast milk

A. hi breastfeeding work on demand and supply. so please offer plenty of feeds,the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. massage your breasts with coconut oil you can take leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk for this. although if it is not possible then you can offer formula 60 to 90ml (2 to 3 ounces )per feeding and feeding frequency every 3 to 4 hours
