Q.

i have just started pumping breastmilk, in my first pumping session it fetched around 30ml in half an hour, now I am not sure whether i M making enough milk for my 6weeks old son .. please help..

A. It is a demand and supply mechanism, so latch more often. Have fluids before and after breast feeding. have healthy diet. Consume dates, nuts, jeera, Dill seeds, sauf, ajwain, papaya, spoon of desi ghee and butter plus a katori of assorted nuts , makhana everyday. Drink lots of milk and curds and plus proteins supplements

A. hi...it's the same case for me as well.i also get only 30 ml in half an hour.how many times in a day u pump? and for how much duration...my 8 week son is 90 percent on aptamill formula ..I pump only twice and can barely gather one feed for him out of his 8 feeds...

A. good afternoon I would recommend you to try to have Himalaya shatavari along with milk twice in a day this will help to improve the milk production in the body so that you have sufficient milk
