Q.

I have gone through ECO cardiography today..they have mentioned right aortic arch.. any expert please help in understanding,,.. worried about the same.. report attached

A. In general, the isolated right aortic arch is a benign lesion. Right aortic arch and left pulmonary artery anomalies are more difficult to identify and may require more extensive evaluation and intervention. Vascular rings associated with right aortic arch anomalies are intervened upon for symptomatic benefit.

In ARSA, the right aortic arch regresses between the right common carotid and right subclavian arteries, instead of being distal to them. could this be of any issue to child post birth.?
