Q.

i have given vaccine to my baby on completing 1 an half month, he has fever and i have him paracetamol drop, how much time he will take to recover from this fever because his pain on leg is normal now

A. 2 to 3 days when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. good evening I would recommend you to try to do cold compress on the affected area that is on the vaccination site on the leg to reduce the pain it will take three or four days for the baby to recover completely
