I have given two dose of zioral syrup for loose motions still my daughter has loose motions when would it stop... after how many doses it is expected to stop ... I gave 2.5 ml of that syrup

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motixfons are associatfed with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Jayshree KothwalMom of a 4 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. it takes time to cure loose motions. you should continue to give zioral so that the zinc would maintain in the body and give RTD - ORS once a day, give less spicy food, keep her hydrated always. give her sabudana khichdi, it helps. don't rush and change the medicines, it will take time to stop loose motions and recover your baby's stomach.

It can take a day or more than that depending from the from childhood also the severity of the situation further more just for precaution you should absolutely stop giving Mail for the time being because that actually aggravate the loose motion for the child
