Q.

I have done my blood test and I came to know that my TSH is 6.6 then I consulted doctor who prescriped me 100 mcg thyroxine .Is it ok??

A. The dosage may be a bit higher end it is advisable that you consult an endocrinologist or the physician in person and then begin the medication and after you start taking the medication get your thyroid profile repeated after at least three monthsWrite Your Answer Here

Q. #AskTheExpert Hai mam I am 11 weeks pregnant and i took thyroid test on my 6 th week and it was 13.08 after that doctor gave me Thyronorm 50 mcg . After one month of taking medicine again i did a thyroid test then it was 3.470 then while consultation with the doctor she gave me thyronorm 75 mcg. The scan reports are normal in first scan. Is there anything i need to worry? Or taking higher dose thyronorm from 50 mcg to 75 mcg after reducing my tsh level form 13.08 to 3.470 is ok or i need further consultation?
