I have cough from yesterday I took medicine on it but will it affect on breastfeeding??

A. t your cough will not affect your baby but you should wear a mask while feeding baby and continue breastfeeding as it will only help baby by your antibodies going via milk

A. Taking dextromethorphan (Delsym, Robitussin), a cough suppressant, while breastfeeding is typically fine. If you have a dry cough, you might find this helpful. If your cough comes with a bit more mucus, guaifenesin ER (Mucinex) is usually the go-to.
