A. Yes, it is normal for your periods to be irregular after a C-section, especially if this is your first cycle postpartum. Your body is still adjusting, and hormonal changes can cause variations in flow, duration, and timing. Possible Reasons for Irregular Periods Post C-Section: ✅ Hormonal Changes – Your body is recovering from pregnancy and childbirth. ✅ Breastfeeding – If you are breastfeeding, it can delay or alter your menstrual cycle. ✅ Uterine Healing – The uterus is still healing from surgery, which may affect periods. ✅ Stress & Recovery – Physical recovery, lack of sleep, and stress can impact cycles. When to See a Doctor? 🚨 If you experience: Heavy bleeding (soaking pads within 1-2 hours). Severe cramps or clots larger than a coin. Periods stop suddenly after starting again. Very irregular cycles persist for months. Otherwise, your periods should regulate within a few months. Stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and give your body time to heal!
