Q.

I have an 11 day old baby...she latches my nipple for feeding and instantly goes off to sleep without feeding...and starts crying because of hunger....what to do?

A. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this. see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.c take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself. take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

A. When your child starts to take the feed press your nipples with your hand for a better flow what will happen is in the small span of time also even if it is two or three minutes at your child is sucking the milk amount is going to be much better and that’s going to keep your child full for a definite time
