Q.
I have a newborn child about to be a month old.. whenever I put him down to sleep at night he gets startled and wakes up moves his hands and raises his legs and then wakes up. he is having disturbed sleep because of this..also he makes weird noises at night while sleeping..what is the problem? what should I do about it..I make him sleep with me when this happens..

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. After being born into a loud, cold, wide-open world, it takes some time for them to get used to their new environment. Sometimes, or a lot of the time, they want that same close, warm, safe feeling they had when they were in the womb. Being held is as close as they can get to the comfort they're familiar with.
