Q.

i have a daughter of 20 days.. whenever she's is doing potty...a muscle type something of 0.2-0.4 cm comes out of the anal area..I have also consulted pediatrician..he said it will resolve over a period of time when she will gain weight.. doctor has said that it is not rectal prolapse..my daughter is premature baby born at 35 weeks weighing about 2.1 kg...now she's is 20 days old and weigh about 2.3 kg..is it a serious problem or will this resolve over a time?? I am fearing a lot that whether it will cause any problem to her in future

A. Hello my dear parent! Seems to be anal fissure. Create your baby personally examined by the paediatrician and seek medical assistance immediately in this matter. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine for the baby and follow your doctors advice. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain.
