Q.

I have a 25 days old baby. She sucks for a while and leaves and sucks again. She also cries for in between those sucks. I have a nipple pain while she sucks. What is the problem?

A. check for any inverted nipple or latching issues Check if the baby is having any colic pain give colicaid drops as prescribed by your doctor feed the baby in sitting and c arm position burp everytime after feeding adequately maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. hi dear Most newborns eat every 2 to 3 hours, or 8 to 12 times every 24 hours. Babies might only take in half ounce per feeding for the first day or two of life, but after that will usually drink 1 to 2 ounces at each feeding. This amount increases to 2 to 3 ounces by 2 weeks of age.
