ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. hi weaning needs patience as babies tend to refuse feeds other than breast milk. start with few spoons of dal water , rice water. give it at a time when baby is not crying for hunger. introduce it 1 to 2 hours after you breastfeed, baby will first get a texture of food then accept it. slowly increase quantity, introduce mashed banana , which is easily accepted by many babies.
