go for a booster seat. u can carry it outside, to restaurants, picnics etc,. and can be fixed to any dining chair.

Though for  6 months old it's too early to use high chair. use it only when the baby is ready to sit for sometime while eating lunch/dinner etc..also make baby sit for lunch/dinner with rest if the family at the same table..it helps baby to get used to the routine and mimic what d family does.

go for wooden convertible high chair of babyoye. it is well balanced n value for money as my elder daughter 6 yrs now still uses it as table n chair for drawing/writing etc.
