Q.

I have 1 Month 10 days old baby boy. We have improper latching issues. if I latch my boy correctly after many attempts he use his hand and remove my breast and he latches only on the nipple. what should I do to help him latch properly?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 40 days old and he doesn’t latch properly means your nipples are not properly prepared to catch it in his mouth so express your milk and feed it with spoon

A. Hi, if you are giving bottle it could cause nipple confusion as well. As of now pump and feed with spoon. Make sure the posture is fine. You have to put areola (black part? too in the mouth of baby. Take help from lactation experts of needed. Also, invest in a good breast pump. You can try electric ones to save time and efforts. I am using one from Bump2Cradle. It's cost effective and very helpful.
