I had unprotected sex 8 weeks postpartum. I’m exclusively breast feeding. Can I take an i pill? As an emergency

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes definitely you can take I pill.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and ot is safe to take once I pill during breastfeeding and also it is better to use any other precautions like condoms while having sex after delivery.
