Q.

I had thyroid during pregnancy on 4th month blood test TSH was 3.60 doctor advised to take thyroxine tablets 12.5 mcg , on 8th month blood test TSH was 1.40 doctor advised to continue same tablets. I am continuing tablets still I took thyroid test today TSH was 0.728. Whether I need to continue taking tablets?

A. generally most of the times gestational diabetes and hypothyroidism will be diagnosed you have to maintain proper investigation up to 6 months to 1 year depending on the circumstances dose can be curtailed consult your doctor

A. I advice you should continue following the procedure and medication which your doctor had prescribed you,and don't take any medicine by your own and if you want to discontinue your medicine then consult doctor.
