Q.

I had ovarian cyst, consulted doc and taking medicine harmoni F tablets, doc told to take for 6 months is harmoni tablets are contraceptive or not ? will it avoid getting pregnant ?

A. Yes it is a contraceptive and yes it will avoid pregnancy. Usually cysts of smaller size tend to decrease upon usage of hormonal contraceptive pills after using for 6 months
