I had my periods two days ago (4 days late), but the amount of blood is much lesser ,doesn't fill the pad and it's dark brown clots. I did a pregnancy test this morning which came out negative. I have a 1.5 yr old baby and not trying to get pregnant now. is it normal to have periods like spotting with brown clots?

Author of questionGuardian of a 3 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. no. I consulted a Gynecologist and she told me it's due to breastfeeding. my baby was sick and breastfeeding a lot last month. Doctor said it's due to Prolactin.
