Bleeding often lasts for around for four to six weeks, but could last up to 12 weeks after your baby's born . Bleeding will start off heavy and red to browny red. It will become lighter in colour and flow over time .
If it does not reduce, consult with your doctor
Deblina BhattacharyaGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. Hello,my baby is about to complete 2 years, and I'm still a breast feeding mother. The problem is during her feeding she often bites the nipple. Now I'm suffering with a painful sore in both my nipples from the last two weeks and I can't stop her from feeding at least for a day. Please suggest.

Hello this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too since the bleeding is lasting for more than 6 week
