Q.

I had c section delivery and now it's almost 4 months but still I can't sit down on the floor can't do any work in sitting position if I do so my stiches get swell and it pains.,unable to climb a 2 wheeler seat to sit.i feel like I have to put lot of effort to do all these and my knees are totally jam..my gynic is not suggesting any medicine.

A. What ever you are doing you’re supposed to stop. You should not sit on the floor or do any activities that will put extra pressure on your abdomen until at least six months after surgery. The knee joint pains are coming due to hormonal changes and they may last for even 1 to 2 years after giving birth so keep taking calcium medications and try doing some stretching exercises and reduce the pressure on your knees and also abdomen.Write Your Answer Here

A. ok thanks alot the day I take calcium and iron legs cramps are more severe and I think with calcium iam having urine infection.

A. Ma’am It is not recommend to bend down or to do any work up till the age of 6 to 8 months after your delivery till the time your external stitches do not hear completely and if you gynaecologist is not able to help you with anything then it’s better that you take an opinion from another gynaecologist by getting a full checkup done for yourself
