I got my 5 yrs old daughter varicella vaccine yesterday and since last night she is having cold and cough.can I give her cough syrup??

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the ortigin need to give symptomatic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remedies cough expectorant may be requihred along with anti allergic medications

Yes u can give cough syrup to ur child.
There is no problem in that.
Also give warm tulsi ginger honey water three four times a day to get relief from cough and cold and apply vicks vaporub on the chest and throat.
