I gone through normal delivery on 19th may. After 5 days my stitches thread fell down without healing stitches area. I consult doctor she said it will heal within 2 weeks and gave medicine. Now wound is clear but small hole is not closed. Doctor said it will take time to close that hole...my doubt is it common or only in my case or to close that is I need to take stitches again

A. well a small wound wil heal up ok. Cut on salt in diet. take lots of fluids and a high protein diet. avoid standing or sitting with legs hanging down. You can show to a gynac and get a proper check up to get the right diagnosis and treatment
