i given a iron tonic doc prescribe for my son 5ml . if i give a day he poop a next day black color.. why he poop a black color.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it's due to iron syrup.. that's common n nothing to worry about it. should continue with iron supplement. Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good evening it is quite common with children who are consuming iron it is not mean that is any major issue I would recommend you to discontinue giving iron supplement for a couple of days and observe
