Q.

I give homemade solid food in crushed forms for my 11 month old son, would it create any cough in lungs ? As I heard that puree food create cough in lungs. please advice.

A. no it is not so. Diet containing of green leafy vegetable and fruit that contains most of vitamin and good protein sources like paneer or egg . It is required for proper weight and height gain and also for boosting immunity and good skin and hairs . Protein powder like pediasure can be given to baby after 2 yr of age .

A. hi..this is not correct...Purees and mashed foods are the first step towards eating solids. Babies take time making this progression, and it should be introduced using a gradual step-by-step process : from soups to purees to chunkier solids. You do not need to wait for their teeth to come – they are good at chewing soft solid foods like rice and lentils using their gums. By 8 months, your baby will have learnt to chew by moving food in his mouth with his tongue.
