Q.

I found a tiny stone in my daughter mouth and could remove it. I am not sure if she swallowed any stone around 2-3 mm. she was trying to chew it when I took it out. she did not cry or cough. if she swallowed it what should I do.should I rush to a doctor?

A. even if the child has swallowed the stones it should go inside the stomach and in few days should come out through the school of the child. but it would be as advisable to go for an x-ray which will localize the stones if it is present in the intestine of the child

A. hi as you are not knowing how much she has swalloed,it is better to visit your pediatrician for once and please observe your child for next 48 hours too if there is any symptom like sudden fever, irritability, breathing difficulty, vomiting, frequent stomach pain etc you must consult your nearest pediatrician immediately
