Q.
I didn't take proper massage after my c section due to time management problem.. will it lead to massive back pain or major problem in future..m worried since now m feeling back pain..

Ramya SheshadriMom of a 10 yr 10 m old girl9 years agoA. Not everyone go for massage post delivery, so no need to worry that lack of it will cause back pain. Ensure to have proper posture while breast-feeding and start with exercises for strengthening core muscles.

No problem dear, Back pain are common among caesarian moms because the anaesthesia is given via the spine. you can reduce the pain by maintaining correct position of breastfeeding. If you are sitting on a chair to feed, keep a pillow at the back, rest your feet on a small stool or foot rest and make sure that your back is well supported then place a pillow on your lap and place baby on the pillow and feed. If you are feeding by sitting on a bed then lean on the head end of the bead, keep a pillow at the back and then on your lap and feed the baby. Never strain yourself while feeding, it will add to your back pain. Make sure that you are sitting comfortably. Just check with your gynecologist from when you can do post- delivery exercises for back pain and then do it. You can do it once or twice when you are getting up from bed. won't take more than 5 minutes
