i am using a medela nipple shield and it is causing overflow to my 10 days old baby as i have leaking breasts. the leakage continues throughout the feeding. 1. is that overflow safe to the baby. 2. can a nipple shield cause any infections

It Become very uncomfortable for a child to take feeling this way just a regulated nipple shield are very good and healthy but not always work so you can use breast pump also to just take out the extra milk that you have so that you can keep it aside to feed your child data
