Q.

i am seven months pregnant. I am having a huge fibroid. Two of the gynecologist, I consulted at my work place, told me that fibroid will be removed at the time of delivery. Now, I have been shifted to hometown. The doctor I consulted with told me that fibroid may or may not be removed. Do I need to consult other doctor?

A. Usually as the size of the fibroid will shrink in the postpartum period Many doctors prefer not to touch the fibroid while doing the Cesarean section if it is large.Write Your Answer Here

A. My doctor also said that the fibroid will be removed at the time of the C-section but she didn't remove it as there would be more blood loss. It is removed through myomectomy surgery after three years. pls consult a doctor and see if it is removed at the time of C-section only.

A. Hello dear parent, we'll I am not a doctor so I would not be able to guide here much. But I can just advice you should be in touch with a nearby doctor gynaecologist as well. Since you are in some other state and planning to guve birth there only.
