Q.

I am not giving vitamin d supplement to my sir from birth He has no problem He is on formula milk Now he is 79 days old Is it must to give vitamin d and iron supplements I contacted two doctors one says he needn't to have supplements and another recommends Please guide

A. yes it is nessesary to give vit d3 drops till one year of age . While breast milk is the best source of nutrients for babies, it likely won't provide enough vitamin D. Your baby needs vitamin D to absorb calcium .. hence it is used to give it.
