I am not giving vitamin d supplement to my sir from birth He has no problem He is on formula milk Now he is 79 days old Is it must to give vitamin d and iron supplements I contacted two doctors one says he needn't to have supplements and another recommends Please guide

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes it is nessesary to give vit d3 drops till one year of age .
While breast milk is the best source of nutrients for babies, it likely won't provide enough vitamin D. Your baby needs vitamin D to absorb calcium .. hence it is used to give it.
