Q.

I am mom of 2 years 2 months old baby boy.. he won’t sleep well from infant days. So our paediatrician suggested NOCTURA syrup with 2 weeks of doses for better sleep.. here my question is—- Is it recommended to give this syrup for sleep

A. do one thing try to wash his legs with water nd baby will sleep well... nd plz do give sleep I duced medicine it will effect brain.

A. avoid it is not advisable to give medicine to make the child sleep. the medicines act at the level of brain and obviously this medicines have got side effects. better to go for natural sleep engagement in the child compared to medicines. please see for any disturbance like abdominal colic or environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep of the child d

A. It’s mostly not advisable and medicines like this are mostly given in extreme cases where the doctor said that the child is not sleeping at all otherwise we should not play with the natural cycle of a child so if there is a situation where you have to give this medicine it’s okay otherwise otherwise it’s generally not advisable
