Q.

i am in the process of weaning my 1 year 2 month old child.. i haven't fed him since yesterday and now my breasts are so tough and painful.. i am having fever also.. please advice some medicine or any home remedy

A. you wear bra and express. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

A. hi but why are you prefering to wean your child abruptly? it can also affect your child health. so it would be better to try gradual weaning. although if you want to stop and as you are having engorgement problem,you should take hot shower bath to get relief in pain. avoid wearing bra for now keep your body well hydrated express milk through hands or breastpump . wear loose fitting Cotton clothes.
