Q.

I am in 25th week of pregnancy and my TSH 3rd generation level is 6.3 while in 10 week it was 3.43. Is it normal or do I need to worry as I read that it is directly related to my baby brain development.

A. It would be better if you start taking thyroxine medications. As anything more than 5 is significant. You can consult an endocrinologist or your gynaecologist once before starting. If needed repeat the test
