Q.

I am having cracked nipple since more then a month... Shown to drs, took antibiotics, used nipcare cream, t bact ointment, self milk on it, coconut oil but its not healing.. Its painful Every time I feed my son.. He is 3 month old.. He never use to have another side bcs of which tat crack couldn't heal.. Now when he started have other side from a week that side also skin is coming out and feeling like crack there also.. Its painful so please give remedy where it can heal soon..

A. The pain is due to incorrect latching. Consult a lactation expert to help you latch your baby well

A. Hello...Painful cracked and bleeding nipples are not a normal side effect of breastfeeding. Nursing shouldn't be painful – in fact, pain is a warning sign that you have a problem that needs correcting.you can apply nipcare after feeding baby...clean it with warm water before next feeding to baby...using for few days you can free from cracked nipples

A. Till it is healed suggest you to express milk and feed him using bottle. don't feed him directly as it's not letting Ur nipple heal inspite of using medicines.
