A. Hello mom best to introduce weaning foods from the age of 5 month onwards, observe her weight gain if its been gradual, monthly weight gain is expected to be in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight

A. Hello Dear, cerelac and any solid food is not good for her. instead of cerelac you can go for formula milk.Babies gain weight gradually as they grow. But, at some point, weight gain slows down or stabilises. My pediatrician recommended me Dexolac with FOS, He told me that Babies who are formula fed generally gain weight faster than breastfed babies. I followed his advice and results are visible. You can go for it.Dexolac is good in taste. It has all the nutrients which are very important for the growth of the infant. It is easy to digest this milk powder. My baby has not had any stomach issues since he started drinking this milk. The pediatrician also recommends giving this milk to infants. It is also helpful in increasing the weight of infants.
