Q.

I am giving Pegclear syrup to my 6 year old daughter for the past 2 weeks. Today she has pooped for around 4 times but the stool is not that watery it is kind of normal stool. What should I do? Is it anything to worry about?

A. that's fine can decrease the dose by 25 percentage You need to give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child and your child appears to be suffering from constipation. In addition try to give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water kishmish vegetables and fruits specially with covers. If your doctor has prescribed constipation medicine then kindly continue them Many times you have to complete course of constipation medicine. Decrease the milk intake to around 200 ml to 300 ml per day only. The problem of constipation decreases with increasing age of the child and the medicines give only symptomatic relief.
