Q.

I am giving Ibugesic Plus to my baby every 6 hours but still her fever comes back in this duration. Can I repeat every 4 hours or I should consider giving paracetamol and ibuprofen separately?

A. whenever fever is not improving with paracetamol you will have to see if the dosage of the medicine is given according to the weight of the child or not and if the power of the paracetamol is proper. also if the medicine is older than one month after opening then better to buy a new bottlez. you have to give paracetamol and also do body sponge and keep the child in cotton clothes. after 2 hours zof paracetamol if the fever is is not improving then you can go for higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p. paracetamol can be given maximum four times per day.

A. No just continue with this this one is a very strong medicine to be given to the child and medicine is meant to be repeated in six hours only also start doing cold sponging that will also help in breaking down the temperature don’t give any extra medicine to the child
