I am giving Alex drops bt my 1yr old baby not decrease the running nose what we give

NikitaMom of a 1 yr 7 m old child1 Year agoA. try mustard oil massage on the back and chest of baby.....heat the oil and add garlic into it....let it cool down to normal temp or a little warm according to baby... don't let the baby uncovered after the massage

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial iufn both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
