i am d mother of 1 year old boy...please suggest proper diet... n finger food also...

A. Dear mum, for 1 year old baby, you can give all family foods. Give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits and nuts to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. You can give finger foods like peanut chikki, dry fruits laddu, brown bread with peanut butter, idli, dhokla pieces. Give 4 to 5 meals a day including 1 or 2 healthy snacks in between. Continue to breastfeed.
