I am breastfeeding mom of 20 months old twin babies. I am suffering from mastitis in one of my breasts. my family doctor prescribed me antibiotics and placenta extract gel. Today is 5th day of these medicines but it is not healing at all. please suggest me what should I do?

A. Antibiotics. If you have an infection, a 10-day course of antibiotics is usually needed. It's important to take all of the medication to minimize your chance of recurrence. If your mastitis doesn't clear up after taking antibiotics, follow up with your doctor.
