Q.

I am a mother of 3 month and 9 days old baby girl. my baby lift her head in small amount of time(5 to 6 sec) while giving tummy time. Also she is trying for roll over. but when trying for sitting she is not able to lift or not turn her head. Is this normal. when head will be stable(atleast minimum).

A. Around 4 months of age, babies gain control and balance in their head, neck, and trunk. Most babies can balance their heads for short periods when in a stable position. Around this same age, your baby starts playing with his or her hands and grasps your finger on purpose, rather than as a reflex.
