Q.

I am a mother of 25 days old baby and I prefer breast feeding however in night i smoke a cigarette or two and wait till morning to breast feed again and in night I keep her in formula feed, please confirm if there is any risk to transferring any chemical to my kid.

A. it is advisable and very much better to quit smoking and if not then avoid at least during the lacction period and further you can take suggestions from your doctor regarding this to guide you properly in details and that would be the best approach so as to help you in a proper way.
