i am 9 month pregnant i have itching in whole body doctor prescribed atarax 10 mg tablet is it safe in pregnancy

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. yes you can take the tablet for a few days Itching during pregnancy may be related to either dryness or dehydration for which you can use a good moisturizer and have adequate liquid intake secondly it may be related to kidney function or liver functen which needs to be investigated properly
