Q.
I am 7 week pregnant. I had my tests done today.my random sugar level came 159.i had food half an hr before giving my samples. is my sugar level high?? is it necessary to wait for 2 hrs for giving samples after eating?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. get gtt and hba1c also. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

Yes it is important that you maintain a proper time gap between the testing and you are eating so I think maybe your sugar is high because you got it done very quickly after eating so I would suggest you to repeat the test again after consulting your doctor and see what they have to suggest you afterwards
