Q.

I am 38 weeks pregnant my due date is 17 th feb.. and i had gestational diabetes of in the month of december later, i am in diet now from last 5 weeks and daily monitoring my sugar level now my after breakfast sugar is normal that is below 140,..since from jan to till date is my gestational diabeties is normal? will it effect my baby, some ppl says we should admit before due date if u had gestational diabeties I is dat true

A. actually you can deliver your child anytime after completion of 37 weeks so it's necessary to visit your gynaecologist more frequently to avoid any delay and reduce chance of complications

A. You should be able to. Having gestational diabetes (GD) doesn't necessarily mean that you can't have your baby vaginally. You've got a better chance of having a birth without any interventions, such as induction or caesarean section, if you can keep your blood sugar levels stable during pregnancy.
